A Message from Father Clint A message from Father Clint:
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This morning, we heard the surprising and sad news of the death of Pope Francis, one day after celebrating the great solemnity of Easter. For 12 years he journeyed along with us as pope, but also as a fellow Pilgrim of Hope. He showed us and the world through his words and actions from the first day of his pontificate what humble, servant leadership looks like. Pope Francis will remain for me, and I hope for all of us, an inspiration.
As the world, especially the secular world, becomes temporarily fascinated with the papacy, the Vatican and the traditions of the Catholic Faith, let us stay focused instead on prayer and supplication. Let us pray for the Church. Let us pray for all those who were close to Pope Francis and feel this loss personally and deeply. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to move once again among those who will select our next universal shepherd.
May God, the source of New Life, who raised Jesus from the dead and who promised a great reward to those who follow him bring our brother, Pope Francis to his eternal, loving embrace in heaven.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:
Esta mañana, recibimos la sorprendente y triste noticia del fallecimiento del Papa Francisco, un día después de celebrar la gran solemnidad de la Pascua. Durante 12 años nos acompañó como Papa, pero también como Peregrino de la Esperanza. Desde el primer día de su pontificado, nos mostró a nosotros y al mundo, con sus palabras y acciones, cómo es un liderazgo humilde y servicial. El Papa Francisco seguirá siendo para mí, y espero que para todos nosotros, una inspiración.
Mientras el mundo, especialmente el mundo secular, se fascina temporalmente con el papado, el Vaticano y las tradiciones de la fe católica, centrémonos en la oración y la súplica. Oremos por la Iglesia. Oremos por todos aquellos que estuvieron cerca del Papa Francisco y que sienten esta pérdida personal y profundamente. Pidamos al Espíritu Santo que actúe una vez más entre quienes elegirán a nuestro próximo pastor universal.
Que Dios, fuente de Vida Nueva, que resucitó a Jesús de entre los muertos y prometió una gran recompensa a quienes lo sigan, lleve a nuestro hermano, el Papa Francisco, a su eterno abrazo amoroso en el cielo.
