Beginning Dec. 3rd, 2023 -Each member is encouraged to begin to bring and maintain a choral folder to help keep up with materials and resources as we move forward.The blue folders used at the church will be supplied for music for Holy Days of Obligation and Seasonal Mass services (Advent/Christmas/Lent/Easter) only.Beginning Dec. 3rd, the choir will also have a set of the Unidos en Cristo/United in Christ Missal provided for use during service. The Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation are provided for each member of the choir in both languages using this resource.THESE NEED TO REMAIN AT THE CHURCH, PLEASE for use for each service - I won't be able to replenish them.If you'd like your own copy for use at home, you may purchase one using the link above.The use of the weekly copies will be discontinued with the start of the new liturgical year. Although we are abiding by copyright; we use an incredible number of resources making copies for weekly use. Mass PreparationIf you want to participate in leading the congregation in music for a Mass, please plan to arrive One Hour Prior to that Mass to prepare.**I'm going to gently state that, should you be running more than 15 minutes late, you will be asked to participate from the congregation. This new schedule might be a shift for us, but we can begin by being sure to arrive on time so that we have ample time to warm up our voices and prepare our materials (and our hearts!) for service to our congregation.This new schedule was proposed by Father Clint and Deacon John and will need to be implemented as soon as possible:
- 30 mins prior - all prayers, rehearsals, etc. are to be finished to allow for individual silent reflection, prayer, and preparation for Mass. Our preparation is gathering and preparing our music; opening prayer ; vocal warmup ; special notes for Mass.
- **Note** Please rehearse your music PRIOR to the Mass - we are starting Tuesday evening rehearsals for the purpose of familiarizing ourselves with the music and I will be continuing the weekly update of the YouTube links (hopefully, soon to be posted on the parish website!)

- 3:30-4:00 Vigil
- 8:00-8:30 for Sunday English
- 10:00-10:30 for Sunday Spanish
- 15 mins prior - Introduction of new songs or updates pertaining to music in the Mass
- This will be given by the cantor with the involvement of the congregation from the announcement floor microphone/microphones on for sound check and adjustments. For Nov/Dec, I will lead as an example for this (though I will not be the cantor for each service). I hope to train our current cantors to do the same by January 2024.

- 4:15 Vigil
- 8:45 for Sunday English
